Someone dropped off a “special package” in front of my doorstep a few days ago. And I found the insides rather intriguing because the components resembled stuff you usually find in a board game. And, well … you know naman how I love board games (!!!) It’s definitely something for their “end of the world” theme .. because as the Mayans predicted, we call it quits this 2012.
So anyway, whatever. Here it is.. AXE END OF THE WORLD SURVIVAL KIT. Mmmkay. Cool. Let us proceed.

OK geeks, a copy of Battleship Galaxies was gifted to me by Chie over the holidays (OMG it’s exactly what I wanted!) and I’m here to do a series of posts on this amazing board game that draws nostalgia from the original Battleship game by Hasbro. With the new Battleship movie coming to theaters pretty soon, I found it timely to showcase this 2011 release of the next-generation game that uses grids and pegs … in outer space!
Been using an app called Locate these past few days. Simply put, it’s a localized search service that runs on any Android device. The app is developed by Smart Communications but as it is in the Android Marketplace, you don’t need to be a SMART subscriber to use it. As long as you’re on Android v1.5 and up (which is 99% most likely the case) you can use it.
The Samsung booth is huge. They’re showcasing everything with full force. But the main showcase is twofold: the newly updated Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which puts it head on with the Motorola Xoom (since both are running Android 3.0 Honeycomb) and the Samsung Galaxy S II.
