Okay okay I cheated. I brought in the big guns after seeing how badly this personal blog of mine did. After much deliberation, I’ve also added the Pinoy Top Blogs code to my cellphone blog.

The Canon EOS 350D that blogging bought

Several months ago I never thought it would be possible to turn blogging into something lucrative. Well, July 2006 has been very generous to me and so I went to Canon Philippines to buy my first dSLR, the Canon 350D with kit lens.

The money I spent on this body + kit lens (Canon gave me a few freebies like a 256MB CF card and mini tripod) was all earned from blogging with b5media and KMM.

Is a professional camera the most expensive thing blogging can buy? Answer is NO:

The house that blogging bought
The car that blogging bought
The camera, gaming console and monitor that blogging bought

Abe has also bought a Canon 350D, from, well, from his photo gallery! Talk about reinvesting the money you earn!

Congratulations, boss!

B5media and co-branding with Fox

Here’s news from the blogosphere. Our network has just gotten into a co-branding agreement with VIP Fans Club to produce and promote content, and give away neat prizes. These are entertainment channel blogs so I’m waiting for the day that we do some technology channel tie-ups with Microsoft, Apple, and the other big tech companies. Only time will tell…

As of today, we are partnering with VIP Fan Clubs to produce co-branded blogs for Fox Media’s TV shows. The initial test run is just 4 shows, but we are confident that the initial 4 will let us figure out the best way to cross-promote the blogs from both sides of this deal.

The point is to provide high quality daily content for passionate fans of the shows. Inside information. Exclusive deals. Discounts on merchandise. The whole 9 yards.

The first 4 shows are 24, Bones, Prison Break and Family Guy.
