Unboxing the iPod nano (6th Generation 2010)

This is it. This is what everybody’s been raving about. The “flagship” iPod product that caught everybody’s attention and stole the show is the new 6th generation iPod nano. It’s more than an iPod — it’s an accessory. Add a strap and it’s a watch.

That sucks — no Apple stickers!

The iPod nano feels great. I love the screen size. You’ll probably drop it a couple of times if you’re not careful with the clip but other than that the form factor reaffirms Apple’s awesome design.

It’s everything you saw in the live stream: you can rotate the screen at any time allowing versatility to the built-in clip. It comes with an FM radio, recording function for online radio streams, a pedometer and Nike+ support. You still need to buy the external adaptor for the Nike+ module to work, unlike the iPod touch which already has it built in.

It’s great! I want it — it makes for a good wrist watch. There’s an option that allows you to display the clock when you wake the screen. They really thought this through!

Colors available: silver, graphite, blue, green ,orange and pink. The Product Red you see here is a limited edition design exclusive to those who donate to the AIDS program in Africa via the online store. If you buy an iPod off the local online store, you can get a free engraving.

Pricing: PHP 7,990.00 for 8GB, PHP 9,790.00 for the 16GB model.
