I want a Bugaboo for the geek to come

Colorful things always pulled me into stores. I remember a few weeks back i was walking along the Bonifacio High Street strip and caught sight of a set of Bugaboo Strollers being displayed by the window of Hobbes.

As I’ve been in search for the perfect baby carriage, and the fact that this particular set looked rather geeky, I just had to make an inquiry. As it turns out, the best selling Bugaboo Cameleon retails at Hobbes for a whopping P56,000.00, which is a little over a thousand USD. You get a pretty interesting package though. Apart from the frame, you get a mosquito net attachment for outdoor treks, a transparent rainy day canopy, a carry-cot picnic basket attachment, a seat fabric when baby wants to chill, and a 2 year warranty.

A two year warranty for a carriage that’s made to last your baby till he’s four years old. That’s P1,166.00 per month for the next 48 months. Worth it? I don’t know. But you know, if I can justify spending P95,000.00 for a MacBook, then this should be cake.

The Bugaboo frog is pretty cool. It’s light and very easy to turn around and push. The only problem I find is that it does not have the best “folding” feature.

You see those all over here in Europe. It’s the newest accessory for moms.
