MSI unveils S20 Slider; seems to be the standard design for the new ultrabooks

MSI S20 Slider Windows 8

Toshiba pulled this design off with their U925t Satellite and at this CES 2013, MSI also unveiled a similar tablet / laptop design that seems to be the new normal for what passes for as an Ultrabook running Windows 8. In the recent past, the ‘ultrabook’ was an extremely light SSD-based laptop with no optical drive. It pretty much was the MacBook Air for the PC. Today, the Ultrabook is really a laptop with a screen that slides parallel to the keyboard, turning it into a tablet. Expect to see more of these in the future.
