Product Review: CD-R King Rice Cooker (does it really work?!) for PHP 350.00

Due to popular demand from friends, we decided to pursue a second episode for the CD-R King review series. Again, we’re not sure where to go from here but it seems like this is really going somewhere. Anyway, in this episode, Rico and I respond to a question most of you have been dying to ask: is the CD-R King rice cooker for real?

This episode actually turned out better than expected because Rico and I don’t know how to cook rice.

Also, we decided to put our videos up on its own domain.

Lenovo A60 runs Android 2.3, Dual SIM, a steal at only PHP 7,990.00

EDIT II: Lenovo has released its holiday 2012 lineup — the P700i, K860 and S560 models. There is also an upgrade to the A60, the A65 and the more recent A60+. Check them out! So as not to confuse with the timelines, the P700i, K860 and S560 are the latest releases. Here is a comparison between the S560 and the P700i.

EDIT: Updated to include more insights after really getting to use it

I won Lenovo’s latest gem, the A60, last night. It’s been a long time coming but Lenovo Mobile is finally here. Oddly enough, the mobile division isn’t being handled by the consumer group of Ida Ong. Lenovo Mobile is a completely separate group with the phones being distributed by Open Communications Inc.

torque_d100_dualsim_1

There is that notion of “cheap” being nothing more than that. However, the D100 from TORQUE (successful China debut phone) is actually impressive! This is an example of a truly kick ass phone — it just so happens to be cheap, but there are small things TORQUE paid attention to that made a huge difference in the overall product.

Full review of the D100 afte the jump. I swear, this could be your next el-cheapo wonder!
