How To Stay Fit: Lockdown 2020 Edition

So 2020 has been a strange year for many of us as we have virtually all been affected in one way or another by the global pandemic that is caused by Covid-19. Because of this, many of us have been forced to stay at home and forced indoors to combat the spread of the virus. Therefore, many have been having to find alternative ways to keep fit during time and so we have created a quick and easy to read list on how best to do this during 2020.

With many of us being cooped up at home and with limited amount of time to leave the house, many have been completing quick high intensity interval training sessions (HIIT) as they are quick and easy to complete and really good calorie burner. HIIT don’t require much if any equipment either and can be found online through guides or even videos on YouTube. The perfect way to keep fit during lockdown periods.

Furthermore, running is another activity that many have been taking part in during the lockdowned period. Running again is a sport that many can get involved in as again it doesn’t really have any start-up costs apart from just needing a pair of running trainers to be able to run in. Running is not just good for fitness, but it also allows to get our fresh air for the day which allows us to clean out body and mind of negative thoughts and running is also proven to be very good for mental health.

Becoming a digital nomad is something that is a growing in popularity due to the lifestyle that they are able to lead. In the Digital Nomad World, they are able to live their normal life anywhere in the world and run their life just through the use of a phone or laptop which they run their business through. Because of this, they’ve also had to benefit from the types of activities on this list to ensure that they are staying fit during lockdown months.

And finally, the last activity that we have seen a huge surge in numbers during lockdown periods is actually yoga. Yoga hasn’t had the amount of press it should have especially with the benefits that it has for the body and mind. Yoga allows you to relax and stretch areas in your body that you never knew you could and can be such a good feeling to compete in. Yoga can be a daunting exercise to get started with but with the amount of help online now, everyone can start somewhere.
