If you love science, The Cosmos reboot is something to look forward to and watch with your kids (2014)

Carl Sagan: “The Cosmos is all that is or was or ever will be…”

Neil deGrasse Tyson: “It’s time … to get going again.”

I am super pumped for this! The Cosmos is a 13-part miniseries created by the late Carl Sagan which ran from 1980 to 1990 and is still being viewed as the definitive guide to the science of outer space. There have been rumors that astrophysicist Neil DeGrasse-Tyson will be narrating a remake and all signs point to positive with the trailer for the 2014 reboot. If you want a digital copy of the original Cosmos series? Check out the ereader section for that and other science fiction offers.

The trailer sends chills own my spine — Degrasse-Tyson is the perfect fit to narrate the show as he’s one of the few celebrity-scientists out there who’s making science fun and easy to understand by the common folk. If you want a sample of his work, you can catch his podcast called Startalk and he’s all over YouTube.

The best part of the trailer? When the C and S of title are highlighted as a tribute to Sagan. **chills**
