There are many like-minded children of the 80’s who grew up with video games and some of them have started an amazing podcast over at OMGeek.net. The show is currently ranked at #10 in iTunes’ Top 10 Games & Hobbies category and I’m a special guest in Episode II where we talk about video games marketing. Drop by and have a listen. For this show, my vocal chords were in for a treat as I dusted off the Samson GoMic, a portable USB-powered condenser microphone that clips on to your laptop. It’s roughly the size of a tic-tac box and can very well fit into your shirt pocket. It’s definitely the smallest high-quality microphone I’ve ever used and it won’t break your wallet. Heck when I got it almost 3 years ago, it only set me back PHP 2,200 thereabouts. Now, if you want to spend a bit more, there’s a slightly more expensive condenser mic, the CO1U which is about a thousand pesos more expensive. Yes I own it too. Got it back in 2007.

Enjoy!
