Clear Black Concert with Moony: College kids get in for free!

Moony this Balentayms

Last year, I attended Clear’s Black Campaign Fashion Show. This year, they’re making more waves for a Black Valentine’s celebration with Moony in concert (College kids get in for free!).

Have you been noticing a trend in the anti-romance movement for Valentine’s? Last year, around this time, mag:net Katipunan celebrated LOVE is EVOL, a reading of break up letters with Geek Chorus and Da Pulis.

Together with JC Medina and Gabe Mercado, we’ve been planning a second LOVE is EVOL this month as we celebrate the anniversary of Geek Chorus. The original spiel went something like “last year we gave you Love is Evol … this year, we give you something totally OLD: Love is MediEVOL!!”

The original concept was to construct a life-size catapult built from plans taken from the Internet. On the cataput will sit a huge ball where anyone can place the names of those who have hurt them in the past. The ball will be set on fire and will be flung into a huge paper heart. If we miss, we attack the paper heart with flaming pikes.

Pike, 10 to 20 feet long, would be hard to carry or throw. 🙂

Will it not be easier to use torches. A mob of Geek armed with torches would probably do the trick. 🙂

I wonder if my chemica romance can sue them for using “the black parade”?

On another note, where’s geek chorus’ event going to be held this time?

I believe My Chemical Romance owns the intellectual property rights for “The Black Parade” around the world.
