One Laptop Per Child “Curriculum Jam” in Manila

They’re here. This is the official Wiki for the Curriculum Jam in Manila.

OLPC is organizing a Curriculum Jam in Manila, scheduled for the first weekend of October (5-7). We’ll be working with teachers around the world who are running Curriculum Jams in their countries at the same time. We’ll be creating learning activities – developing miniature classes (45-minute lessons) to teach (anything we want) to local schoolchildren, who will actually take the classes on Sunday afternoon and give feedback on how to make the learning experiences better. After the Jam, we’ll upload all the lessons plans we’ve generated to the internet and release them under an open content license so that other teachers around the world can do the same thing with their classes.

Participation in the Jam is free. To apply, click here.

I want to join. I’m excited. I’m actually at a loss for words to describe the profound feeling I have in me right now. It seems that you have to form a team to join this event.
