Ballantine’s and visual artist Shawna X Team up for a new limited-edition bottle available at top membership supermarket S&R and leading online retailers

Ballantine’s latest limited-edition release with visual artist Shawna X celebrates positivity and community spirit

To spread a splash of joy, color, and positivity around the world in these challenging times, the No. 1 Scotch whisky brand in Europe Ballantine’s has teamed up with New York-based visual artist Shawna X to release a new limited-edition bottle.

Shawna X is at the forefront of a rising generation of multi-faceted visual artists, known for her vibrant and colorful style and collaborations with the likes of Nike, Spotify, The New Yorker, and her recent re-interpretation of the Oscars statue. Staying true to her style and ethos of invoking positivity through her artwork, Shawna X has now applied her signature splash of color onto Ballantine’s iconic Finest bottle. “I was tapping into the feeling of joy being with a community of people who I connect to, have fun with, and am vulnerable with and supportive to, especially after the past year of isolation,” says Shawna. “The connection is vibrant and colorful.”

The partnership of Ballantine’s and Shawna also extends to artistic communities around the world, helping in the recovery of various nightlife scenes through murals created by Shawna and local artists.

“I want artists in each community to have artistic freedom to express their version of community and joy. I think artists and creative communities may be more outspoken about staying true, but I want this sentiment to vibrate through all of humanity,” she added.

The colorful bottle contains the same multi-awarded blended Scotch whisky that Ballantine’s Finest is known for.

You can get the limited-edition Ballantine’s Finest Shawna X bottle at all S&R branches this April for only P449. Online site www.boozy.ph retails it at P579.
