Four fun facts about The Crown series

Movies and TV shows are a big source of fun and entertainment for people around the world. And in keeping with the current world trends, people these days also prefer to enjoy their shows on Netflix, the world’s biggest streaming service.

It has also been proved that people are now spending more time in front of their screens. According to Conviva (a real-time Intelligence platform for optimized streaming media), there has been a 63% increase in the time spent using streaming services compared to 2019.

This is not very surprising considering the quality of shows that Netflix has been producing in recent years. The Crown is one of the best examples of such shows. The Peter Morgan created series is a historical drama about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.

The show first hit the screens in 2016 and so far, four seasons have been released. Its popularity is credited with influencing how the British see the Royal Family today. Research from Betway has said that 35% of the Britishers who watch the show view the Royal Family ‘a little better’ or ‘much better.’ It has also been observed that 34% of the British people who watch it view Charles with more empathy.
